Brad Heemstra headshot

After a successful 24-year career in the industry with a local commercial contractor, Brad pursued his life-long dream and started Integrity Construction – a company targeting both commercial and residential construction projects, focusing on delivering excellence to clients in a personal way. His vision was to build a business that was driven by a desire to serve people and by developing a team of professionals that are not only good at what they build, but how they do it.

With Brad’s experience, he offers a unique benefit to all the projects completed by Integrity through his oversight and expertise. He is licensed with the State of Iowa as a Professional Engineer and was recognized as the 2016 Business Person of the Year by the Ames Chamber.

Brad takes his commitment to serving the community seriously.  He currently serves on the Board of Trustees at Mary Greeley Medical Center and is an active member with the Ames Chamber of Commerce, Master Builders of Iowa, Ames Home Builders Association, Ames Noon Rotary Club, and Christ Community Church.

Chris Heemstra headshot

Project Manager

Chris started in the industry by framing houses in the summers. As a co-op intern, Chris worked as a student engineer for a construction firm on a 13-story office building in downtown Des Moines. After completing his degree in Construction Engineering at Iowa State, he came on board at Integrity Construction. His role as project manager and estimator is primarily on commercial projects.  He has led Integrity’s senior living facility projects along with many other commercial buildings.

Andrew Paleczny headshot

Project Manager

Andrew’s gifting is in the area of project management.  He excels in coordinating the administrative aspects of construction projects.  Andrew works hard to keep everyone on the project team informed.  Utilizing technology comes natural for him and he is willing to step in and help wherever needed.  His friendly approach helps others feel at ease.

Dylan Kline headshot

Project Manager

Dylan came to Integrity Construction with a business degree from the University of Northern Iowa and work experience that included light construction and business management.  He has quickly become well versed in the residential building process and enjoys researching new products and improved techniques in the home building industry.  Dylan focuses on our residential projects including new homes, remodels and additions.

Scott Clatt headshot

With the innate ability to form relationships with subcontractors and knowledge of the construction process developed over the course of two decades in the industry, Scott is the perfect advocate for our clients.  Joining Integrity Construction as a Residential Superintendent, he is responsible for managing the homebuilding process from start to finish. He visits multiple jobsites on a daily basis to ensure the building process is moving smoothly for each individual client.

Annette Mann headshot

Selections Coordinator

Annette joined Integrity Construction with extensive experience in customer service and design. With her background in art and colors, she brings a unique angle to Integrity’s process and works with each client every step of the way. In addition to providing consultation on new construction and remodel projects, Annette helps guide clients from Integrity’s showroom to allow clients to get a closer look at different finish, color and material selections.

Meg Shupe headshot

Selections & Marketing

Meg came to Integrity Construction after graduating from the University of Northern Iowa with a Marketing and Communications degree and working for an interior design firm.  She brings expertise to the Integrity team with overseeing our social media presence, website, and hard copy marketing materials.  She also serves our clients as a project coordinator with a focus on interior building material and color selections.

James Carlatt headshot

Project Manager

Before joining the team at Integrity, James’ background in construction included several years at a lumber yard and experience with carpentry work.  His pleasant personality is a good fit in his role as Project Manager on remodel projects.  James works closely with our clients to keep them informed before and during the construction phase.  His goal is to make the remodeling experience pleasant and predictable.

Richard Darby headshot

Richard brings a “hands on” approach to his role as a Superintendent.  There is no construction challenge that he can’t identify a solution for.  This likely comes from his previous experience as a crew leader for construction projects in the Ag-Business field.  Richard’s leadership on the jobsite is demonstrated by his calm, “can-do” approach with the workers and our clients.

Nick Brown headshot

Nick serves on our team as an Assistant Superintendent.  One of Nick’s strengths is in his ability to relate with field workers and draw the best out of each individual.  He is a natural leader and earns the respect from each crew through his confident, yet humble approach.  Nick’s background as a finish carpenter adds to his skillset as a supervisor. Nick is detail oriented, versatile, a fast learner, and a natural problem solver.

Todd Latterell headshot

Finish Carpenter

Todd is meticulous when it comes to the final steps of our new construction and remodel projects.  We call it “final assembly.”  He is instrumental at making sure no loose ends are left behind. Using checklists is one of Todd’s most effective tools.

Tyson Crandall headshot

Construction Worker

Tyson is fairly new to the construction industry, but not new to learning quickly and working hard.  He is a willing helper at all levels and his desire to grow his skillset makes all the difference.  While he came to us as a Hawkeye fan, several of his teammates have a Cyclone influence on him.
